Panels

It refers to a sample of respondents who have agreed to provide information at pecified interval over an extended period. In longitudinal experiment designs the panels are used for collecting data on a specific variable repeatedly. Syndicated services firms maintain panels, and panel members are compensated for their participation with gifts, coupons, information, or cash.
