Community shopping center

Moderate-sized, planned shopping facility with a branch department store, a variety store, and/or a category killer store, in addition to several smaller stores. The major anchor is usually a discount store or supermarket. It provides a range of soft lines and hard lines in addition to the day-to-day goods of a neighborhood center. About 20,000 to 100,000 people, who live or work within 10 to 20 minutes of the center, are served by this location.
