Sampling distribution of the mean

The frequency distribution created by the means of all possible samples of a specified size taken from a specified population. The sampling distribution of the mean is a normal distribution regardless of the sample size if the population is normally distributed. It is also normally distributed if samples of at least 30 are used regardless of the distribution of the population. It is also simply called sampling distribution.
