Sampling frame error

Sampling frame error it is one of the errors associated with the sampling process. It may be defined as the variation between the population defined by the researcher and the population as implied by the sampling frame (list) used. This occurs because on sampling frame is perfect and due to imperfections in the sampling frame this variation
may come in the selection of the sampling elements. For example, the telephone directory used to generate a list of telephone numbers does not accurately represent the population of potential customers due to unlisted numbers, disconnection, and new numbers not included in the directory.
