Canonical correlation

A dependence method of multivariate data analysis appropriate for use with a set of intervally-scaled dependent variables and a set of intervally-scaled independent variables. It measures the extent of association between the scores and the groups by quantifying the association between the single discriminant function and the set of dummy variables that define the group membership.
