Coefficient of partial (or net) regression

Quantity resulting from a multiple-regression analysis, which indicates the average change in the criterion (dependent) variable per unit change in a predictor (independent) variable, holding all other predictor variables constant; the interpretation applies only when the predictor variables are independent, as required for a valid application of the multipleregression model.
