Kolmogrov-Smirnov test

A statistical test employed with ordinal data to determine whether some observed pattern of frequencies corresponds to some pattern; also whether two independent samples have been drawn from the same population or from populations with the same distribution. There are two variations of this test.
These are:
(1) Kolmogrov-Smirnov one sample test, and
(2) Kolmogrov-Smirnov two-sample test.
