Performance of objective tasks

One of the methods of assessing attitudes that rests on the presumption that a subject’s performance of a specific assigned task (for example, memorizing a number of facts) will depend on the person’s attitude. The assumption is that subjects would be more apt to remember those arguments that are more consistent with their own position.
