Bivariate cross-tabulation

It is one of the types of cross-tabulations in which two variables are cross-tabulated. As here, only two variables are cross-classified, percentages could be computed either column wise, based on column totals, or row wise, based on row totals. Whether column tabulation to be used or row tabulation to be used it depends on which variable is considered independent variable and which as the dependent variable. The general rule is to compute the percentages in the direction of the independent variable, across the dependent variable.
