Cultural norms

Those standards of behaviour that govern proper social relations, means of ensuring safety, eating habits, and so forth. If behaviour deviates from the cultural norms, society may place sanctions or restrictions on behaviour. Cultural norms play an important role in understanding consumer behaviour.
