Drop shipper

A type of wholesaler that operates in bulk industries, such as coal, lumber, and heavy equipment. Upon receiving an order, it selects a manufacturer, who ships the merchandise directly to the customer on the agreed-upon terms and time of delivery. The dropshipper assumes title and risk from the time the order is accepted to its delivery to the customer
