Full-service wholesalers

A type of wholesaling organization which provides a full line of services—carrying stock, maintaining a sales force, offering credit, making deliveries, and providing management assistance. There are two types of full service wholesalers: (1) wholesale merchants who sell primarily to retailers and provide full range of services (2) industrial distributors who sell to manufacturers rather than to retailers.
