Interdependence techniques

One of the multivariate statistical techniques used for data analysis. In interdependence techniques the variables are not classified as dependent or independent; rather, the whole set of interdependence relationships is examined. The major technique for examining variable interdependence is factor analysis. Analysis of interobject similarity can be conducted by cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling.
