Aggression

One of the types of defense mechanisms in which individuals who experience frustration may resort to aggressive behaviour in an attempt to protect their self esteems. In the context of consumer behaviour, it has been found that frustrated consumers often have boycotted manufacturers in efforts to improve product quality, and boycotted retailers in efforts to have prices lowered.
