Nationality subcultures

Nationality subcultures in a larger society in which members often retain a sense of identification and pride in the language and customs of their ancestors. This is especially true for a population of a country like UK and US that have a history of attracting people from all over the globe. When it comes to consumer behaviour, this pride or identification is manifested most strongly in the consumption of ethnic foods, in travel to the “homeland”, and in the purchase of numerous cultural artifacts (ethnic clothing, art, music, foreign language newspapers).
