Infomediaries
Independent organization who publish on a regular basis the various product or brand evaluations. Example includes consumer reports and ratings in special interest journals, book reviewers, and recently, the chat rooms where people discuss products, services, and companies. Consumers are undoubted are influenced by these evaluations. Infomediaries are also online organizations that aggregate and distribute information. One form of infomediary is a market research firm. Usually the infomediary compensates the consumer for sharing information.
