Conflict resolution

This term is used often in the context of channelproducer conflict situation. It refers to a mechanism to reduce or solve the conflict between the producer and the retailer or any other channel member. There are two major channel conflict resolution mechanisms—withdrawal (dissolution of relationship) and procedural resolution (conflict resolution through a procedure).
