Research proposal

A document that describes the objectives and purpose(s) of the research, the questions to be answered, the methodologies to be employed, the expected outcome and benefits to be derived from the proposed research, and the cost and time required. Research proposal is prepared and presented by the researcher to the decision maker in the organization and the decision maker approves the proposal if it is viable.
