Aspirational reference group

One of the types of reference groups to which a person does not currently belong but to which one desires to belong. These groups exhibit a desire to adopt the norms, values, and behaviour of others with whom the individual aspire to associate. The influence of Aspirational groups, though indirect, can play a significant role in product choices.
