Open-ended questions

One of the types of questions that may be used in a questionnaire to elicit information from the respondents. In openended questions the respondents are free to provide the requested information in their own words or sentences. Open-ended questions are good as first question on a topic. Respondents’ comments and explanations can provide the researcher with rich insights. However, there is a strong potential for interviewer’s bias.
