Usually, distasteful version of a style that is crude and disgraceful. In pop culture it terms objects that are done to appeal to the masses and are of poor quality as per aesthetics and design. In order to attract popularity, kitsch often relies on cultural icons – copying famous examples of fine arts, exploiting patriotic sentiments or simulating deep human emotions.
