MarCom (MarComm)


Abbreviation for Marketing Communication, which is the promotion-part of the Marketing Mix or the-so-called "four Ps" (price, product, promotion, and place). Marketing communications aim at targeting company's customers and prospects, using: media channels (TV, radio, print, outdoor); direct marketing (direct mail, telemarketing); as well as anything that could become a vehicle for brand messages - such as logo, package design, point-of-sales, PR, Internet, etc.
