One-time sale effort to a foreign customer by means of: phone calls, fax, TV, mail orders, internet. Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs) have been implemented in the EU since 1997 in order to protect consumers during sales process of products and/or services to consumers without face-to-face contact with the supplier. In non-EU countries one may need legal advice to avoid breach of legal requirement enforced.
